Guest guest
Thank you very much. Rich has a 21 year old son that is a marine, , married with a daughter and a premie born son. Our little grandson is and he is not doing well in the NICU in North Carolina so prayers for him would be appreciated. Rich also has a son that's 14, our Lucas, who lives with his mother in Vancouver Washington. My oldest, Sherry is married with an 11 year old daughter and a 6 year old boy Beau. My middle daughter, Sammi is still single as she says she isn't getting married until she meets someone who treats her the way Dad treats me. The youngest daughter is Katrina and she is married to a deputy sheriff in the Denver area. They have 3 little stair step girls, 2, 4 and 5. I say Rich's sons but they are my babies too. We have a wonderful co-joined family. Since I have no family of my own other than the girls, Rich's parents have become like parents to me. Likewise his aunts and uncles. I am a truly blessed woman and I praise God for them all every day. Since Christmas I have lost down to 170 and they say this surgery will probably take 15 -20 more pounds off. I think the weight loss is the one good thing about all this illness but if I get healthy again I bet it comes back twice as fast. Ain't Rich a hunk - no drooling ladies! The last is a picture from our trip to Yellowstone after my dx. It was on my bucket list so Rich took me. Do you think the park knew something we didn't? I also added a picture from this last winter when I was a hefty 240. So far I have lost 70 pounds in 6 months. It's one good thing about being sick. Hope you enjoy the pictures. And Sher, thanks for asking. It made me feel really special today and brought a sunshine on a cloudy day. You are the bomb! Guest guest
Hi Sunny,I'll add little in the NICU in North Carolina to my prayer list - it's growing but there is always room for another. It must be so hard for his parents so I'll add them and you for that reason as well. I might not get off my knees for awhile but time in prayer is time well spent.Love,Peggy E. Guest guest
Thank you Peggy. His folks and Rita are struggling. They have an 18 month old girl named Amber and just coordinating care for her and their trips from the marine base in S. Carolina to the NICU in N. Carolina is killing them. I had a premie so I know how hard it is to leave the hospital after giving birth and leaving the baby behind. It breaks my heart that all we can do is send a few dollars as my health just won't allow me to travel and Rich has to support us. Well, I know God wasn't surprised by this and He has a plan and purpose. Guest guest
Sunny, You didn't tell me that the baby was having problems. I'll be praying for him. Rich was so much the proud grandpa when he told me about him.Beverley Joy, 71, IPF 1-09, Sjogren's, Fibromyalgia, diabetes, Idaho From: rpickel1 (AT) msn (DOT) com <rpickel1 (AT) msn (DOT) com>Subject: Photos of Rich and SunnyTo: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. comDate: Thursday, June 18, 2009, 9:21 PM Play slideshow Save all photos Want to save all these photos at once?
