's post reminded me of something that is really really irratating me

right now.

I am on this list for families with lots of kids. In order to get on the

list you have to have at least 4 kids. Anyway, most of the people there are

really nice.

I was bitching about something but not really giving details. I was told

that I could vent and all.

Like when I go off on a vent there like anyone gets it. They don't

understand. I mean, they understand my bitch about the insurance company,

about what Chris's company is doing with pay and the f'd up scheduals that

people are working now but that is it.

They don't understand a day of a 2 year old climbing into the fridge

freaking out about the light being burned out and why I am stressed out

about him locking himself in there. They don't understand the two hour

meltdowns of Savannahs where Rain Man makes more sense or the screaming for

no reason out of nowhere. They don't understand why Sierra practicing

writting " Sierra is a hippo " annoys me so much (she finally has the motor

skills to write, and is writting the first two words she learned and I don't

want to discourage this but why in the hell is she writting that she is a

hippo???) They don't understand why Sierra saying " I'm not wearing my

underwear, definatly not wearing my underwear " is so funny.

I could go on but you get the picture there.

I share here everything they wouldn't get.

I feel like I am ignored there sometimes because they don't get it.

I'm sorry you're having that experience, Georga. In my search for

parenting groups, there is simply no other like this one. I get so much

here....and y'all understand what I'm going through, and you have helped

me accept even more. On my HPE list, we don't fit in because

is so much more able than the other kids....

have you ever invited someone to a list and

then TOTALLY regret ever doing that, and then

you couldn't get away from them??

it makes you feel like you really can't

talk about things anymore..and that person

is laughing at you, cause YOU can't do anything

about it...(and you worry about the people you

like on the list, that the same will happen to them)

it sucks~

I know what you are talking about to an extent.

I won't even get into the one list that I used to be on. A lot of the

people on there were really nice and I like some of them but in general the

entire list made me sick
