Guest guest
I was completely surprised to find this letter from his daughter in my mail this morning and she said (so much like her dad) that I should share with all of you. Dear Ms. Ehret I want to thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I find that each and every gesture no matter the size is of great comfort to me and gives me a little more strength and courage to face a new day without my father. Dad never told me that he was involved with any support groups or networks and it has been with great admiration finding this out about him. He always made giving back a priority in his life. I am not surprised he reached out through the internet as well. I have not yet gathered the courage to get on line and read the many messages and conversations I am told are waiting. But I felt that I needed to say thank you to you and everyone else that that helped him to stay strong during his battle. He always managed to have courage and a good bit of humor with him at all times. He is definitely an inspiration to me in how to face adversity with such dignity. I truly believe that each life he was a part of is a little better off for having known him. I hope that you also will find peace knowing that he is no longer suffering and that he was one of the lucky one. He told me that he was able to do everything that he wanted to do before moving on. Rather than this being a time of mourning at the loss of a good friend, I try to look at the celebration of a great life that I was so very lucky to be a part of. Thank you again for your kind words. Sincerely Savage (Father: Joe Savage) Thank you all for being a part of my father's journey. Boy do I need my Kleenex, what a wonderful letter and she is truly Joe's daughter. He taught her well. If anyone wants to write to her email me and I will send you her address, don't want to post it here. Take care all am off to Lauries. _____

Guest guest
Hi, Jolene. Thank you for posting the letter from Joe Savage's daughter. Her letter made me grab the Kleenex, too. What a wonderful attitude and loving kindness. God bless her heart. ~Deb from KS Jolene Ehret wrote: I was completely surprised to find this letter from his daughter in my mail this morning and she said (so much like her dad) that I should share with all of you.
