Guest guest
I don't claim to know much about what's causing this in you, I just felt inclined to respond because I can't imagine the suffering you must be going through, and I bet you'd really like someone to respond. My personal recommendations: If you haven't tried it yet: Whole food-based vitamins (such as Standard Process) as opposed to synthetic, lab- created vitamins? Prayer? I highly recommend something called " Skilled Relaxation " for the nervous system. I am doing this right now (20 min., twice a day) to help me cope while I wait/suffer waiting to get the last of my dental issues removed. Since I can't chelate yet, and I'm still working on optimizing my supp. combination, this SR is helping me SOOO much. For more info, visit Dr. Walt Stoll's website, Askdrstoll.com (I think. Google it.) Then get his book: " Recapture Your Health: A Step-by-Step Program to Reverse Chronic Symptoms and Create Lasting Wellness " by Walt Stoll, MD, and Jann De. I'm NOT saying chelation is not what you need so do SR instead. I'm saying there's a very strong possibility that SR (done consistently over the course of months) can begin to clear away what might be over- accumulated effects of stress in your nervous system, allowing it to begin resuming normal (or as close to normal as you may be able to obtain w/mercury still in you) operation. For me, my solution is SR + supplements + chelation (once my dental issues are resolved). To get started w/SR quickly and easily, I bought a guided imagery/Stress Reduction CD for $0.01 on ebay. Very easy to start that way. But for results, you MUST do the SR for 20 min. no less than 2 times/day and not allow yourself to fall asleep while doing it. Get the book. Already began helping me in the first day, with additional benefits daily. Best Regards! > > I have been chelating for two years. I stopped for 6 months, because my body > kind of > collapsed. Someone on this list knows about Gilberts, though I can't remember who? DeanSA
Guest guest
-I did a liver detox pathways test, and it was ok. Here it is: The test says: > > " In your particular case, Phase I is normal and none of the Phase II > pathways are underfunctioning. The following > is a detailed description of your test results. > For the clinician: > Caffeine clearance is within the reference range, indicating normal > Phase I (cytochrome P450) activity. > None of the Phase II pathways appear to be underfunctioning. " > > > ---I do not understand " continued provision of phase 2 nutrients is > recommended " . I thought my phase 1 and phase 2 was normal! Guest guest
Livene, I had the exact same reaction to fish oils and fish. I was able to tolerate a product which is the precursers to the omega 3s...I could be wrong but I still take it instead of omegas -here is a link http://www.rockwellnutrition.net/Biotone-EFA-by-Genestra_p_94-205.html I seem fine with this none of the other symptoms. I can't imagine. I am personally very sensitive to supplements and how they are packed. I can not do anything in gelatin or anything with soy. There are a few others. I take the vit e in powder form and take it out of the caps because I have yet to find a vit e in caps that I did not react to. I do okay with my multi. I take my b vitamins in tablet form. I try to take everything in tablet form. I seem to react to the capsules. This might not be at all your issue but I thought I would add to the experience pot - so to speak. Guest guest
> > Hi Livene Don't know whether it will help your situation but I went through a phase before I came across Andy's book (Amalgam Illness) where I was really sensitive to just about any supplement I took. I think my body was running on empty and was probably depleted of key nutrients, so any supplement I added kind of kick started my body in a way that sped up my metabolism and started to mobilise toxins. It may even provoke die off reactions if you have some kind of low grade infection anywhere ( gut, teeth, sinuses, etc). Make sure you try to take ALL of the supplements Andy recommends. Build them up 1 at a time though, ading a new one every few days to check for sensitivities. Also I found that 100mcg of selenium 1-2 times a day, with occassional breaks, really lessened my sensitivities. After selenium I could tolerate wearing aftershave again, air conditioning, certain foods. I just felt more robust. Oh yeah zinc seemed to help with that as well. All the best.
