Guest guest
Joyce, When I first became ill and I was in the hospital, my family tore my home apart. My pets were re-homed, carpeting removed, upholstery cleaned etc. Sounds alot like what you've decided to do. The other thing they did was have the air ducts for my heating system cleaned. Servpro is the company they used. They are national and I know they're in Arizona. I don't know how much it costs. You can look to see if they are in your area at www.servpro.com. You should also be able to get it done by any full service heating and air conditioning company. If you look in the yellow pages under HVAC or heating and air conditioning, you will be able to dind someone and get some estimates. I think you are being very wise in getting this done. If there is anything in the way of dust or dander left from your birds this will get rid of it and you will know you have done everything you can to look after yourself! I wish that this could be the diagnoses of all of you. I have taken steps to remove the rest of the carpet from my house and elimate everything that the birds could have left their dander behind. I have hired some one to give my house a deep cleaning and am trying to find someone to come and clean my vents but have no idea what they are called. I have looked in the yellow pages under everything I can think of. Any ideas as to what the business would be called? I am getting rid od all the bird stuff in the garage and I am gettin grind of the bird seed in the backyard. A friend suggested I buy a air purifier but have no idea if they work or not and don't know which ones are good and which ones aren't. Would love feed back on this. Any one have any other ideas as to what I can do to get rid of any lingering bird dander? There has to be some reason the fibrosis is still happening. I must not have gotten rid of all the bird dander and stuff. I will have my walls painted too. I don't know what else to do! I am at a loss as to what more to do and if my lungs keep getting worse that is not good. Joyce Rudy, AZ Birds, emphazema
Guest guest
Of course! A heating repair service! I use one that I trust and will call them on Monday. Meanwhile I have hired someone to do a deep cleaning in my house and have taken steps to have the carpet replaced but I have to tell you I'm very displeased with the man I talked to about the flooring. He is essentially ignoring me. He said he would call back in a few minutes but didn't call back until the next day then he said he would be out to measure my rooms, etc on Saturday and there was no call and he never came. I don't think Home Depot has the kind of flooring I use in my house so feel trapped. It is a vynal that looks exactly like hard wood floor. In fact, everyone comes in and admires my hard wood floor. Frustrating. but thanks for letting me know about where to get the vents cleaned. Joyce Rudy AZ Birds Hello I am so fortunate that my fibrosis has turned out to be environmental. Guest guest
I am not understanding what I have done to have all of the blogs being sent to me on my Yahoo mail. How can I just go to the site and read. The mail is getting overwhelming. It must have been something I clicked on when I registered at this site. I really want to share my story, but I guess I can't receiving emails on Yahoo. Please advise. Virginia vmnolani@...
