Pravin...sorry to hear your O2 need is increasing. Is this just at rehab or normal activities?

Can you go back to the doc who dx you or do you need a referral from GP for insurance?

Did your GP write Rx for rehab? If not, see the doc who did.

I remember you were in Toronto but can't remember where you are right now...

In my opinion, you need to see someone more qualified to deal with lung issues than a GP.

Can you make that happen?

Help me with my Breathing Issues

Hi Bruce, Sher, Beth, KHi folks : I am struggling with breathing issues. My O2 levels drop when I do anything to between 83 and 85 and I am on 3 liters. this has just started happening lately. When I go for Pulmonary rehab I am noticing that I need to take my O2 level up to 5 liters when I used to be able to do exercise at 4 liters. For those who are not familiar with me I have IPF dx in 2005 and off the Transplant list in Toronto since Dec 2008 due to Kidney and Heart Issues and making the best of it as I chug along. Since I have been off the transplant my GP is sending me to a new Resprologist with whom I do not feel the comfort zone that I had with the folks in Toronto. What advise do you wise folks have.Regards Pravin

Dear Pravinbhai,

There is seems to be a progression in the disease, your doctor can asses and

tell you what to do, the first thing to do would be to take more o2

Take care
