Guest guest Posted August 10, 2008 Report Share Posted August 10, 2008 I've been noticing this week that a natural or artificial flavor make me drowsy almost immediately after eating them -- spacey and sleepy. Salicylate foods it looks like are more of a cumulative thing -- several days of them and I'm depressed and on my way to suicidal but they don't make me sleepy/foggy when I get just one hit. Does this tell you anything about my liver? From what research I know to do, this sounds like a Phase II detox issue? Which phase is involved with the salicylate issue? And would milk thistle help with the phase II issues if that's the problem? I've been out of the loop so long I've forgotten a lot of this. I plan to get Andy's book but I've been sick all spring and my checking account is literally overdrawn as of tonight. I'm just hanging on by my fingernails financially. Thanks...
