Guest guest
Hello everyone, I've read the books and files, but just need to check my plan to see if I have it straight: My son (50#) has been on 3 rounds of DMPS at 12.5mg. I am ready to add ALA. It looks like I should I add the same amount of ALA? (12.5mg) Or actually, maybe I should give 6.25 since I will be giving this every 3 hours. I was giving DMPS every 6 hours. Any advice??? Please help because I would like to do this in the coming weekend. Thanks! Jai
Guest guest
> Dear Jai, I take it that you have already done three months on DMSA before starting ala, because this is what AI recommends? When I started on ala I was only able to cope with 6-7 mg, but of course we are all different and it depends on how contaminated you were to start with. Just take it carefully Kind regards . Guest guest
Jai it seems to depend on how high your body burden of Mercury is when you start ALA..I tried after 3 months and I could not handle any ALA for another 3-4 weeks and then it was I think it was 3-4 mgs to start off Then I had 3-4 pretty good months with ALA and got up to on average 25 mgs ...but now I cannot do any ALA..it causes too many head problems (anger/anxiety/depression/head fog...This has been going on for close to a month now... However i think the 3-4 months of ALA did help with clearing my head as I have more mental energy andf cognitive ability ..BUT physical energy is still pretty low good luck > > When I started on ala I was only able to cope with 6-7 mg, but of > course we are all different and it depends on how contaminated you > were to start with.
