Guest guest
Hi guys I had this same side-effect while on Folfox - didn't realize it was something common. I would bite into something - starting from first day of hook-up and would last about a week - and it would give me a tremendous shock in the jaws and glands/taste buds. It happened the worst with of course, something cold - and I couldn't eat or drink anything sweet at all which would produce this effect. Lasted halfway to next treatment - go away then come back again. At this point (4 months after end of chemo) I have some peripheral neuropathy - (toes and fingers - feel like there is cotton wrapped around them) which seems to be lasting - but the jaw/taste bud thing didn't last. Take care, Pat- In COLD, COLD - Pittsburgh, PA. STEELER COUNTRY!!!! brencolinmom@... wrote: Hi Ingrid: Thanks for the words of encouragement. In a message dated 12/3/2005 5:30:05 P.M. More then likely it will all resolve with time. Ingrid > > Len: > I know how you feel. Today, my neuropathy is in my jaws when I try to bite > into something. Also, my toes and fingers are numb.
