I posted a couple days ago that I'd found some member messages in my bulk mail

folder. Since I didn't check any mail at all yesterday I had a bunch to check

today, including 35 in bulk mail. When I went in to check, I found 11 regular

posts that shouldn't have been there and I moved them to my in box. Several

were from Pat and Lydia, one other I can't remember the name of.

Several times today when I've gotten ready to send a reply, I get to perform

the little exercise of putting in what you think these letters are, apparently

their way of screening for spam. I suspect that's what may be happening if some

of us aren't completing that.

Yes,

There was one day I couldn't get onto Yahoo at all - it was slow if I did get

on - I suspect they have performed some maintenance.

Can't send mail without putting in the anti-spam figures, and about 30% of my

mail from this board is going into " bulk " folder. I think the only way to

prevent that from happening is if you go onto the sender name and somehow find a

setting that tells where you want those messages to go. Does anybody know how to

do that?

Hi there,

I usually sign on through my personal account. I tried to reply to an e-mail

from our group a few days ago and could not; so I went to the Colon Cancer

support home page and sent a reply that way. When I pulled up my personal Yahoo

e-mail again I noticed the one I sent through the support home page was sent to

my bulk mail. If any of you noticed an e-mail from ImaSewr, that was me, Pat

Crain. Hope I explained this correctly. Maybe someone else can try that and see

if that is our problem. Is there anyone that can fix it??

Donna:

I tried changing to the new Yahoo version - am hoping that this one doesn't

end up in bulk as all of mine have been doing - also receiving a lot in there

from the group. Also - when you get any from the group dumped into the Bulk

folder click on " Not Spam " and they shouldn't go there in the future. I am

wondering still how not to have to do the 'spam guard test " where you have to

enter characters before you are allowed to send. Do you have the new version of

Yahoo? Hoping upgrading will help.btw your emails are also ending up in bulk.

I do not know how to get onto the site - am just checking and responding to

mails - can you help me. Thanks.
