Guest guest
This is great Jackie, thanks. It helps to make sense of what others have been telling me. I'll see what I can work out. .
Guest guest
do you know which brand has the lowest amount of HCl? > Jackie wrote: > --------I'm sure this will vary by person, and I believe has said that if your stomach lining is weak, then you may have to build it up slowly. But I was told to start out with one capsule, and then keep adding one at a time, until you feel a burning in your stomach, then this is too much, and then to back off by one capsule, and that should be your dose that you need. You may need more with larger meals and a little less with smaller meals. > >

I've always been one to tolerate higher doses of things. You could try using Google - Shopping, and see what you come up with. Or type in Betaine HCl in the search box at whatever supplement store you shop at online (such as iherb). Or if you get some capsules, and one seems like too much, then you could try splitting it into a smaller dose, like we do with the chelators. Good luck---------Jackie > Jackie wrote: > --------I'm sure this will vary by person, and I believe has said that if your stomach lining is weak, then you may have to build it up slowly.
