Donnelle and Jolene,

In reading your posts, I have concluded that you are two very strong

women. When you were talking about the hugs. My husband is the

greatest. Sometimes it seems he can't stand to be apart from me.

Although I am on the mend with only 4 chemo treatments left and am not

nearly as sick as Glenn. I am so glad to have such a strong

supportive person in my life as it seems you both are.

Sandy

Sandy... I am truly happy that you have a strong supportive guy... just

can't beat that!!! If the shoe were on the other foot here, I'm fairly sure I

would not receive equal treatment (he thinks I'm superwoman), but I'm still

happy to be here for Glenn...

Any kind of sick with this poison going through your system draining you of

all energy and vitality is " sick " in my eyes... you take care, honey... and

keep hold of hubby!!! LOL

Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle

Donelle,

I am very happy that you two can still be so close. You must be such

an enormous source of comfort to Glenn and a true blessing.

Even now I can relate to that frailness though and Matt gets the

shivers too after the chemo. He is short in comparison to Glenn-a

mere 6' but always slender he has lost a good 14lbs since this

wretched cancer got going. Supposedly there isn't any there now but

until that weight goes back on a bit I think I am going to feel

uncomfortable. He does look too thin at the moment. It probably

isn't realistic of me though, as his appetite is naturally less

right now. He does however, eat fairly well, I do feel like I spend

most of my time preparing food for him! Two hungry kids to feed too.

Just as well, because I probably wouldn't bother to eat much myself

otherwise.

Blessings for you and for Glenn,

Fran

He probably won't gain any weight back while on chemo...altho, some people

don't even lose weight...so it's hard to tell. Praying faithfully and sending

positive thoughts for both of you....how old are your children??

Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle

Donelle, Thanks for warning me; I could have been jumping to all the

wrong conclusions.

Our daughter is 14 and our son is 12. Both super duper and

gorgeous....but then I am a little biased!

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers,

Fran
