Guest guest
Narice: Even though you know this is coming, the news knocks you over. It hits you in the gut. I am heartbroken to hear this. My heart aches for you and your boys. I know Phil is in a good place. I just cannot imagine what you are going through. I wish there was more I could do to help you during this time. I will pray for you and your sons. G-d will bless you and help you through this horrible ordeal and your family and community will embrace you. It truly was a battle... he fought so hard for himself, you and the boys, we know he didn't want to leave you...but hopefully, we can find some peace knowing that he is rejoicing with his Master and previous loved ones gone on before...no more pain, no more suffering and only happy tears. Hoping my Mom and your Dad were waiting for him with a rum and coke...and a big hug!!! Guest guest
Narice: I am so sorry for you and the boys. I'm trying my best to be happy for Phil for I truly believe he is in a better place. I woke up this morning about 3:00 and couldn't go back to sleep (husband has CT today for rising CEA). I laid there and prayed on and off for about an hour for all on the list before I decided to get up and check on Phil (e-mail). I really hope the prayers for peace and comfort are being answered for all of Phil's loved ones. I am so saddened by your loss and continue to pray for you and your children. I, too, believe that he is being greeted by all of the folks he has ministered and loved throughout his years. I know now that YOU are the one who is suffering, as Phil has found his ultimate relief. He is in the best place of all, now. May YOU find the strength to carry your and your family's life formward in the image that your beloved Phil would have wanted. Guest guest
Dear Narice My thoughts and prayers are with you. I am saddened by your news. Knowing that it was going to happen surely does not make it any easier - I watched this happen when we lost my Dad - my Mom's pain was not any less, as I am sure you are feeling. My deepest condolences and prayers for your strength on this second phase of your battle. Phil is with the Lord. Guest guest
May the Lord send his angels to help you through the days to follow. I don't know how you will make it through each day but I feel you will. You have always been a strong person and your faith will sustain you. Lean on others as much as you need to. That's what we're here for. As for Phil, he's singing with the choirs of angels and feasting with his recently reunited loved ones. He'll be watching over you and your sons and you will feel his presence when you need it. Guest guest
, I just remember how I felt when my mom died (pancreatic cancer). For the last 2 months of her life, she couldn't eat because of a small bowel obstruction. My mom had a beautiful alto voice and she sang with the symphony chorus and the chuch choir. The nicest thing I read was a card with some flowers. It said that she heard that my mom loved to sing and eat; therefore, she was sure that she was singing with choirs of angels and feasting at glorious feasts with my dad in heaven. Those words stuck with me and helped me a lot. Guest guest
Narice, I don't post often, but I have been reading daily for 5 years. I have followed you and Phil from Day one and I find myself grieving for a friend I only knew through your wonderful emails. I've put your family on my local prayer lists and talk of you and your family like I've had coffee with you on many occassions. I do feel that way about all of my invisible CC Friends. My heart aches for you and your boys. I know Phil is much better off, but what about those left behind? Please know that prayers are offered for you from all corners of the World for peace within. Even though you know it is coming, you never quite believe it will be so soon. May God bless you all, and may flights of angels take Phil to his rest. My prayers are with you.
