Guest guest
If I could offer some advice for newbies it would be to get a saliva hormone test done before anything else - even dental revision. Especially the women. I've been reading up on Estrogen dominance and wow - I had no idea what a huge amount symptoms and problems it can cause. There's a great website developed by a woman with fibromyalgia (and she advices people to remove all mercury amalgams). http://addfibro.com/ She talks about how balancing the hormones can make such a huge difference. She has some testimonies about remarkable reduction in pain when people rebalance their hormones -- mainly progesterone/estrogen. Dr. Rind says if you're estrogen dominant - it will stress the adrenals. Dr Lee states that estrogen dominance will mimic hypothyroidism. When I had my massive dental revision (11+ hours in one sitting!) I believe my already shaky hormones were trashed in the process. I wish I had provided my body with some balance and support before I started detoxing. I also suspect that when your body is balanced hormonally, detox will go much smoother and faster. Just a hunch. I know supplements are a must on this protocal. But I would add that hormone testing and balancing are also a must. In fact, a must BEFORE any revision begins. There are some great webites - alot are in the links - about hormone balancing. I would advise people to read and learn how necessary hormone balancing is to recovery.
