Guest guest
I have posted this info before but I want new members to be informed so I am posting the same info again. I was diagnosd with small bowel cancer in April. Had surgery and 12 sessions of FOLFOX. This type of cancer has a poor prognosis; usually 20 months or so. I did a lot of research about alternative medicine and decided to try using mushrooms along with chemo. I am happy to report that I am in remission and that the side effects from the chemo were minimal. I had no nausea or tiredness. In fact, I need sleeping pills to sleep. The worst side effects were the runs and nueropathy. The mushrooms I took were Reishi, Miatake and Corlious. I obviously have no idea if they contributed to my success but I would urge everybody to talk to their Dr. about using mushrooms along with chemo. They have no side effects and are available at your health food store. If anybody has any questions, feel free to contact me. I wish you all the luck in the world.
