Guest guest
No, I didn't watch but she is not my favorite " journalist " . She is negotiating a $20million a year contract with CBS and I don't understand what they see in her. She is silly and not a newsperson, in my opinion. I also heard she is questioning whether the air marshals should have shot to " wound " instead of to kill the man who threatened to blow up an airliner and rearched into his backpack as he made those threats. OK, sure , let's just wound people who threaten to blow up fully loaded airliners on the tarmac and run a background check when this happens next time. Maybe she would have like to have been on my friend's AA plane when it was flown into the Pentagon. My friend, the pilot (Chic Burlingame) would have loved to have had an air marshal aboard. My gosh she is wearing this s**t colored outfit that looks awful on her, she has on dark rimmed glasses and looks like she desparately needs advice on how to dress. And sipping on coffee while interviewing a guest. I have heard that her contract is up sometime early next year and she hasn't decided what to do yet. Do you spose she really has to work? Anyway she is brave to wear that color I will tell you that. Jolene _____ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Guest guest
, She's not my favorite either. I've always thought she was just too cutesy to be considered a serious journalist. I've never liked her, never watched her, turn her off if I know she's going to be on and can't imagine how she's lasted so long actually. I guess there's no accounting for taste, is there...lol brencolinmom@... wrote: No, I didn't watch but she is not my favorite " journalist " . Guest guest
Well she didn't look like a journalist this morning, she looked like a frumpy housewife pretending.. I could not believe that she was sipping coffee just as whats his name greeted the guest and then looked at Katy and she smiled and sipped her coffee. That was really rude.. And those reading glasses.. My gosh those look like the ones my husband got free from the Army. Ugly is the word.. LOL. My goodness is she stupid or what. Like to see her aim to would when you life is in danger. I would imagine if that marshal have shot to would he would have preferred that to killing a man. No one especially law enforcement people WANT to kill someone, but if push comes to shove and its me or him I hope I can shoot straight cause I don't want it to be me that gets killed. On that cheery note I am going to try and get out of the house and go to Walmart, looks like traffic is moving along nicely.. Ice should be worn off the road by now - thank goodness for the big trucks and SUVs - they can go ahead of me and prepare the way for me. I am going to make chicken and dumpling and I need some carrots and celery to flavor the pot.. Need milk too. As always. I swear I must buy the jug half full, cause and hour after I get home with the milk it is half gone already. Son and gdaughter Marissa are the big milk drinkers. Okay enough running off at the mouth. Take care Jolene--- Jolene, I was so totally amused with that milk comment. I feel the same way here. Seems if I buy two gallons they just drink it faster.LOL It is snowing so much here today. I think we have five inches on the ground already. Hope they plow in the morning I need to get milk!!! And of course they have already announced two hour school delays for the morning. I am thinking that there may not be school if this don't let up soon. The horses are all warm, dry and cozy locked up in the barn for the night. Guest guest
Well hope you are able to get out and get your milk.. Oh yeah I know if I get two gallons they just suck it up. LOL Well we got through our weather. Was good to get out for a bit. Got me a couple books again, and some potpourri to finish the Xmas gifts I am making for Laurie and Kris, and have to do something for daughter in law Carol too since I drew her name so I HAVE to do something special for her. . Wish I could think of something to make for my son's and son in law. Something that doesn't cost and I can use my craft stuff. Is why Kris and Laurie are getting something. LOL Take care Jolene Re: Today show/Katy Couric > > > > > > In a message dated 12/8/2005 11:50:44 AM Eastern Standard Time, > brencolinmom@a... writes: > > No, I didn't watch but she is not my favorite " journalist " . Guest guest
Jolene, Wish I was as able as you to make things for gifts. I think those gifts are so much nicer and heart felt. Just came back from checking in the horses. My old gelding was not in the indoor. The others would not let him get in. Snow is blowing side ways. So brought him in and bedded him in a stall. Oh boy, will now have three stalls to clean. LOL Better not go out there again. I may have them all in stalls before the night is over.
