Guest guest
I have avoided diet coke and other diet products for a long time due to their nasy contents and effects. However, having tried it recently (naighty I know!) I have noticed that it makes me feel better! Why could this be? Is it the aspartame? Phenylalamine? I have fast phase 1 and slow phase 2 if that's any help. Any one experience this? It's not a caffiene issue as the caffiene free one has the same effect and drinking coffee doesnt. I know this is a bad drink but why does it make me feel better? (clearer in the head, more energy etc.)
Guest guest
i was diet coke addict for 10-15 years; it (aspartame) medicates in some way. BUT its bad medicine; aspartame is very bad for liver i am sure cocaine and meth might make u feel better for a short time as well i have the same fast phase 1-slow phase 2 guess who the man is that got it approved with politcal manoeuverings 30 years ago... Guest guest
Could be the phosphorus or phosphoric acid.... but coke does seem to give an adrenal kick as well. Guest guest
She mentions a clearer head too, so I wonder if it contains citric acid, like Alka Seltzer Gold does? Or maybe the phosphoric acid has some similar effect?--------Jackie In frequent-dose-chelation Gail wrote: Could be the phosphorus or phosphoric acid.... but coke does seem to give an adrenal kick as well. Guest guest
I agree re diet coke in some way helping adrenals ; i also seemed to lessen my allergies and did give me a clearer head..but at a very high cost as its like drinking rat poison. I think Diet Coke kept me going for about 15 years (1990-2004). I stopped cold turkey as i developed burning tongue syndrome which after reading up on aspartame problems; I attributed to excessive diet coke (i would drink 5-6 of the super size diet cokes from Mcdonalds every day..gallons). I read one of the possible causative factors in Desert Storm Syndrome (many had burning tongue) was that they shipped cases of Cola with aspartame over to Kuwait and left it in the sun for days where it (aspartame) turns to formalydehide (sorry for spelling) Interestingly enough, a week after i quit the Diet coke, I had a bad viral infection and woke up and I had lost my hearing in one ear so the coke must have been killing everything good and bad in my body > > Could be the phosphorus or phosphoric acid.... but coke does seem to give an adrenal kick as well. > > > > To: frequent-dose-chelation@...: nessy@...: Tue, 19 Aug 2008 21:24:08 +0000Subject: Diet coke/coke zero makes me feel better! > > I have avoided diet coke and other diet products for a long time dueto their nasy contents and effects. However, having tried it recently (naighty I know!)
