Guest guest
-HI Terri,, What are your bowel problems like?? I am asking because I beleive some of my digestion problems are lead related.. I am no where near better but with the right supplements I am able to eat again.. I found that on the very first DMSA round I noticed a change in my digestion.. I had done the ALA first but it was not until the DMSA that I noticed a dramatic improvement with my mood and being able to eat flesh proteins again // I am not familiar with DMPS>? Guest guest
I am thinking that the DMSA probably triggered the -reaction. I have had chronic bowel problems since having my gallbladder removed several years ago - probably due to mecury poisoning. I was managing the digestive system very well with diet and supplements until I started chelating. I think that my liver is at issue here - what little stool I have is pale, pale - almost more white than yellow - and my belly is bloated and distended. I have been reading Andy's recommendations for the liver but there is so much information that it is hard to take in. Did I mention that I am sluggish - mentally and physically - and depressed as well? Terri > Hi Terri. > > Sorry I do not have any ideas about your symptoms. What is usually recommended is taurine, glycine, milk thistle extract and phosphatidylcholine 4 times a day (to increase bile flow), Ox bile with meals (to give bile which will increase bile flow). - and my belly is > bloated and distended. Guest guest
Yes all of the below are recommended. Terri this was a problem I had for over 30 years.. I still have pale stools-- low bile flow/production/ and I think it did get worse my last chelation of 50ALA/50DMSA. I found/find great relief from lecithin , now just experimenting with in its place phosphtidylcholine and inositol . I mean great relief.. ONe meal without it and I can in a crisis for a week.Does anyone understand the parrallels between lecithin and these others.. What are the proportions?? I am today starting to experimnet with higher doses of the amino acids.. Starting with glutamine, glycine, taurine !! --what a coincidence.. Milk thistle is good too but I took that for many ,many years and it was not until the lecithin I got releif.. I shall keep you posted on these amino supplements affect on the bile production..
