Livene,

I wonder if you would answer some of the questions that Dean has

posted on his hair test page. It helps people who are reviewing the

test to know something about your symptoms and history.

Please be sure to answer all these questions when you send the test in:

1) What are your current symptoms and health history?

2) Dental history (wisdom teeth removed? First root canal placed?

Braces? First amalgam etc...)

3) What dental work do you currently have in place? What part of the

dental cleanup have you completed?

4) What dentistry did your mother have at any time before or during

pregnancy?

5) What vaccinations have you had and when (including flu and

especially travel shots)?

6) Supplements and medications (including dosages) taken at time of

hair test, or for the 3-6 months before the sample was taken.

7) Other information you feel may be relevant?

8) What is your location - city & country (so that we can learn where

certain toxins are more prevalent).

Hi ,

I have put the answers to the questions on the actual hair test pdf. Just

page down when you download it.

This way the history always stays up and we can refer to it.

Also, if anyone wants to update their history they can do so and email it to

me and I'll edit it.

I'm doing this with everyone's now, except sometimes the answers are not

included with the hair test.

Thanks,

DeanSA

1) What are your current symptoms and health history?

I have been chelating for two years. One month on 25 and up to 50 mg DMSA.

Then started with 100mg DMSA. After three mounts added ALA up to 1oomg.

Always every 3 hour, 4 at night, 3 days on, 3 days off. Fatigue, some

dizziness' low thyroid and some low adrenal function, still problems

cognitive.

2) Dental history (wisdom teeth removed? First root canal placed? Braces?

First amalgam etc...)

Two wisdom removed, no root canals. Braces at ca,11 years old to 14 years

old. Nut sure, I guess 6 years old.

3) What dental work do you currently have in place? What part of the dental

cleanup have you completed?

I am finished.

4) What dentistry did your mother have at any time before or during

pregnancy?

No,she was not at the dentist at all!

5) What vaccinations have you had and when (including flu and especially

travel shots)?

I had two shots for the (hjernehinnebetennelse) (Brain tissue inflammation I

am so sorry, I do not know the correct English word. I am from Norway. No

flu and travel shots.

Regular shots when I was a child as everyone.

6) Supplements and medications (including dosages) taken at time of hair

test, or for the 3-6 months before the sample was taken.

B50 one, Vit C 1000mg 3, zinc 40mg one,50 mg magnesium one or two. Cipramil

10mg (antidep)

7) Other information you feel may be relevant?

no

8) What is your location - city & country (so that we can learn where

certain toxins are more prevalent).

Trondheim, Norway.

Hi Livene.

I guess that you know that your hair test meets counting rules (no. 1,

5 or less above the 50th percentile; no. 3, 4 or more in the red zone;

and no 4, 11 or less in the green and white zone). I would expect

your hair test to normalize at some point during chelation, but it

hasn't happened yet.

The low lithium suggests lithium supplementation will help (as a

nutritional supplement, not the Rx versions). Lithium orotate or

aspartate should be available in most health food stores. For dose,

search the archives (I can't remember because I don't use it myself).

I would be using more nutritional supplements and spreading them over

the day, with meals and at bedtime. You could take a B50 4x per day,

or split them in half and take half 4x per day. The amount of vit C

you are taking is very low. Try increasing the dose gradually to 6000

mg or so and spread it across the day. Zinc could be a total of

50-100 mg, spread across the day. Mg needs to be increased too - to

750 mg or so, spread across the day. Both Mg and vit C need to be

increased slowly to bowel tolerance, hold at that dose, then increase

again to bowel tolerance. Vitamin E needs to be added to ensure that

you have the most important 4 supplements Andy recommends. Vit E is

oil soluble and can be taken once a day.

There are other supplements that would be beneficial. For specific

ones for specific concerns see " Amalgam Illness " , p 133 to 167.

I didn't look for any of the ratios of elements that Andy talks about

in his " Hair Test Interpretation " book. I don't have those memorized.

Would you tell us any more about what your health problems were like

when you first started to chelate, how chelation has been feeling for

you, and if some problems have resolved or if there has been worsening

of any problems.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing as you continue

to chelate.

Good luck.

For the beginner SCD they recommend eating the soup, cooked carrot,

and SCD yogurt until symptoms settle. In your case it might help to

heal the gut if you stayed on that diet for a period of time.

In other things I have read about gut healing there have been

recommendations to stay on liquids only (but liquids that are

supplying nutrients, the soup broths are good for supplying minerals)

for 3 days to a week and then gradually start to introduce only foods

that are tolerated - usually cooked meats and vegetables to start.

Another liquid that could be included is unflavored gelatin. It does

supply some protein.

I would hold off chelation until you get some gut healing and liver

support in place, and then chelate at lower doses.
