Thanks for the heads up. It does look as though Flumucil is available by prescription in the states. I just looked quickly, I could be wrong. If it's formulated in a way that prevents the stomach upset that would mean that I could take it.

I don't have much issue with the cough but I would like to take it in any case in the event that it could help prevent deterioration. It couldn't hurt!
