Colon Cancer Already Known to be in the Under 50 crowd way back in the 1940s

You are always welcome.

On a new note...

I have the odd 'hobby' of reading old medical books and journals that I find in

used books stores - when they have colon related information. So yesterday I

was reading a 1940s Oxford Medicine journal. And the discussion was about how

cancer is more prevelant in mid to later life, EXCEPT for colon cancer where it

is relatively common to see cases in the 40's, 30's and even the 20's.

I am trying to talk the book seller into selling that copy to me - outside of

the whole set. However, today I'm going back to copy the reference so that I

can see if the library can get a copy of those pages for me. When they do I

will post them on our website.

Imagine that....since at least the 1940's it has been known that colon cancer

happens frequently in the under 50 crowd.

Thank you, Priscilla. Thank you for all the work you do, and all the research in

your spare time. What a find you made.

Happy Holidays.

And so sad that there still has not been more improvements because of

this. Ingrid
