PF Awareness- Grass Root Campaign!

Leanne S. and I have talked off and on about raising awareness in various ways

and some of us in Texas wanted to see, if the rest of the country wanted to join

in on wearing Blue T-shirts on Fridays? With all the other better known disease

groups using pink and red and every other color, we settled on Blue because of

the color our lungs become without oxygen.

If enough people are interested we can even design our own shirt or just keep it

simple and put a " slogan " on it...like 'Pulmonary Fibrosis...it takes your

breath away'. We are totally open and would like your suggestions on this grass

roots project....I think it is something everyone can do, and sooner or later,

when people start noticing others in Blue T-Shirts they will start asking us

what is PF? When we see a pink ribbon on a shirt we just know it is for Breast

Cancer Awareness....if we all band together we can make Blue for PF as well

known too:)
