Now you know for sure that any side effects you get from chelation are down to the dose. > i really wanted to start today and was just about to take my first > DMSA, but checked the messages first and saw that you have both > advised to wait 4days even if there was no mercury there. > The dental surgery used all the iaomt protocol, > I thought i would be ok to chelate, but do not want to take any > chances having come this far. So i am a bit dissappointed as i will now have to wait 3mnths before i can start ALA . I certainly didn't feel any affects in the dentist's. > > i really wanted to start today and was just about to take my first > > DMSA, but checked the messages first and saw that you have both > > advised to wait 4days even if there was no mercury there. > > The dental surgery used all the iaomt protocol, > > I thought i would be ok to chelate, but do not want to take any > > chances having come this far. Seeing as there was no amalgam removed during that visit, and you didn't feel any ill effects of the visit, you could add ALA 3 months after the last amalgam was removed from your mouth. I still think it is wise to do many rounds with DMSA before you add ALA to make sure that you have the right dose and are completely comfortable with chelation. Seeing as you have lead, you will likely get some side effects from the DMSA and it would be best to be completely comfortable with it before adding ALA. And, seeing as you have some brain type symptoms, you may get significant side effects with ALA, and when you do add it you may need to add it at extremely low doses, like less than 5 mg, or clear some body burden with the DMSA before adding ALA. I know that you are anxious to get moving. It is best to go slow so as not to scare yourself with side effects. The best is to feel so comfortable with chelation that you can do a round a week, and not have to take huge breaks because of side effects.
