Guest guest
>I will be starting DMSA on Friday after having had my mercury fillings >removed on Monday. I will be starting at 12.5mg every 3-4 hours during the >day and 4 hours at night. Congrats on the fillings... No mercury left under crowns either, right? DMSA can be done every 4 hours day & night. ALA is done every 3 hours, so when you take both, it's every 3 hours. >When you start, are you limited to only doing 3 days the first round? I >recall reading somewhere that you could do longer than 3 days if you're on >DMSA only, but now I can't find that info. I've got the flu right now so >I'm pretty foggy and possibly remembering wrong. Can anyone advise? Symptoms you may get after stopping a round are very informative, so would suggest stopping after three days to see your body's reaction. -- Ralph Nader on the need for moral courage:
Guest guest
> Congrats on the fillings... No mercury left under crowns either, right? Thanks!! No, I don't have any crowns or root canals, and only had five tiny mercury fillings to deal with in two teeth. I consider myself very fortunate in that regard. Fillings were not my major route of exposure, two broken thermometers were. > Symptoms you may get after stopping a round are very informative, so > would suggest stopping after three days to see your body's reaction. Thanks, ! I'll try 3 days on that dose then come off to see what happens. KerryAnn

But I almost always forget the (fond!) memories I have in the playground/park of a schoolmate passing around a little puddle of mercury that we all took turns jiggling around in the palm of our hands...
