I get it from iherb.com To start with I used the Thorne Research brand because I had to start at a low dose and build up the dose. 50mg ACE in the Thorne caps. Here are some posts I made about taking ACE dosage. (two at the top and then another closer to the bottom of the page, written by me) http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose- chelation/links/_s_posts_001200670998/ You are thinking if HC (Hydrocortisone) which is frequently dished out by ignorant doctors at too high a dose and this causes the frequently discussed " crashes " , and the weaning off/dependency problems. If Adrenal supports are in place before thyroid supports problems should be minimised. Most normal Doc's don't consider adrenals to be a problem and don't treat them. If they did a little research they could discover numerous books, articles about adrenal problems and how to solve them. It is very well researched. Don't forget there are many other supplements that need considering too to support the adrenals: Vit C, Vit E, pantothenic acid, niacin, Vit B12, B complex, magnesium, calcium, zinc, manganese, selenium, molybdenum, chromium, iodine, liquorice, ashwagandha, ginseng, ginger, and the list goes on…..taken from s book " Adrenal Fatigue The 21st century stress syndrome " page 193 onwards. High salt intake also makes a big difference and is very good for adrenals. In fact, looking at that list, I take them all. Notice anything familiar with that list of supps? If you cross check them with Cutler in AI you will find he recommends them all too. (obviously each should be introduced one at a time, starting low dose and gradually increasing the dose) Take care Sunshine
