Guest guest
My experience, prior to 4 years ago , I had very bad depression , which was corrected with 5HTP .. I would have to stay on for many months to correct. It went away totally for 4 years. I did a short course of Frequent dose at too high a dose for about 4 months, two years ago. I stopped due to problems with my kidneys. I restarted FDC last January. THe first round the depression returned. I went back on 5HTP for a month and continued with FDC.. I stopped the 5HTP and the depression has stayed away but for a few hours. SO in your case it could also be something to do with FDC. WHen mercury is removed that part of the body the mercury is removed from needs time and supplemental supports to heal. Have you got anything to help with your symptoms?? If so increase these . Hopefully this would work. If your symptoms are too difficult I think it is wise to discontinue chelation until you find the supports you need. Otherwise our bodies are too compromised by the stress of it all. Nanci ... > > Hello, > I been chelating for about 8 months. Lately emotionally I feel > worst than when I was on month 3-6. Lately emotionally I feel worst than when I was on month 3-6. ----------If you are 8 months post amalgam removal, then you are probably in the hump or stall period, which Cutler describes on page 52 of AI. This is a normal part of mercury detox, which Cutler says you need to understand, and you need to keep chelating through it. Many people have been through it. It is also discussed on the onibasu/wiki.----------Jackie http://onibasu.com/wiki/Cutler_protocol#Stall_period Depressed, confusion, forgetfulness, moodiness, inability to concentrate for long and the worst symptom is a feeling of losing control that is scaring me. Anyway, what got me out of it was continued chelation (although DMSA only) and working on getting my hormones balanced.----------Jackie Should I take a break from chelation for a few weeks? decrease dose or continue to finally feel better? -----------It would be fine to take a break and see how you feel. Or decreasing the dose, or even dropping ALA for a few rounds would be reasonable options too. Others have mentioned having to lower their dose during the stall period. Here's a post by Andy saying that a break may help, to give the body time to heal.-------Jackie http://onibasu.com/archives/am/27363.html I feel like I am not improving and I know it can take years and I am willing , because what else is there to do anyway that can bring healing. -----------The above post by Cutler may be very pertinent to you. Try taking a break, and see what happens. Your body might just need a rest.-------Jackie Anyway thanks to anyone that answers me. Ps I think mold make me feel worse like having mold in the head, anyone know what I mean?? ----------If you mean being exposed to mold can make your head feel bad, then yes, I know what you mean. I am very sensitive to mold too, and I smell or sense it way before others do. There was something moldy in my dad's garage, and it would hit me as soon as I opened the door, and he couldn't smell it at all. If I'm exposed too long, then it can make me feel bad in the head. Taking Alka Seltzer Gold can help with these kinds of reactions.---------Jackie
Guest guest
I'm 10 months post amalgam and feel like crap also. No energy, forgetful, grumpy, inability to concentrate. Felt great month 7 and 8, then the big crash. I only chelate about every other week and take loads of adrenal stuff, thyroid, vitamins, supps .... Just took a test from current doc that checks Heavy metals in Red blood cells (only way to get presription dmps) and found the chelation has pulled out Arsenic ( which was high). Also showed low minerals which wasn't too low on hair test. I believe that Low minerals= poor absorption. I'm now taking lots of digestive enzymes with all food and vitamins to see if that helps all above symptoms. > >
Guest guest
I had a crash and discovered it was probably from the glutathione being taken out when taking ALA.. do not know about DMSA.. I upped my NAC to get my glut levels up and am working extra hard on liver, gallbladder supports..I may decrease my ALA.. although I did have a remarkable healing with that dose.. it is dicey travelling this chelating. I am not working at a regular job , but no one can tell me I am not working hard.. LOL>. nanci > > I'm 10 months post amalgam and feel like crap also.
