Hi Sunshine ;-)

Thanks for your excellent response. I just needed the extra

reassurance that taking ACE won't make a problem worse in the long

run (but better short term).

---------Yes Sunshine gave you some excellent info, and I agree with him, that

ACE does help repair the adrenals. I have taken lots of adrenal support,

including HC and ACE, and after I started taking more ACE, it felt like it was

doing something different, supporting my adrenals in a different way than HC,

and I have been able to lower my HC dose. And Andy is very fond of ACE, and

highly recommends it for adrenal support, and I believe he feels it is rather

safe. You can search archives for posts by him about ACE.--------Jackie

---------And lots of kids on A-M are using ACE too, so Andy considers it safe

for even the children that need adrenal support.--------Jackie

Is it easy to get hold of? Or do you have to get it via a doctor?

---------ACE is available OTC in the US. The two brands usually recommended

are Thorne and Allergy Research Group/Nutricology. The Thorne brand can be a

good one to start out with, because it is 50mg per capsule, so good size for

trying it out and building up your dose. Then the ARG/Nutricology brand is

250mg per capsule, and is the best price and is the organic one from New Zealand

that Sunshine mentions below, so is the cheapest way to go, once you've built up

your dosage. Here's the links.--------Jackie

It was certainly mentioned as one of the things to take from the

email I got, alongside the other support supplements. But your post

eased any reservations I had.

----------It took me a long time before I tried any adrenal support too, but

it wound up being one of the best things I ever did, something I *really*

needed, and I don't know how I would have survived the stress of the last couple

of years without it. When you need it, it can make a *huge* difference in how

you feel.-----Jackie

Thank you.
