Betaine and alka seltzer together

I am taking Betaine. I have a lot of brainfog, if I take the Alka seltzer for

this won't it interfere

with the stomach acid?

And.. when I take betaine, I usually get acid, pain in upper stomach. Maybe I

do not need it?
