I will certainly be keeping your MIL in my prayers.

Love, prayers and heart hugs,

Debbie (GA), Mom to Evan (4.5 y/o with ToF, RBBB, Autism Spectrum Disorder,

Asthma); (now a whole year old and HH and NT?); and my 3 angel babies

whom I will finally see when God says it's time!

You and your family will be in my thoughts. My FIL had the same

problem a few years ago, They put a shunt in to open up the it up

wider, and he is doing great.

Out of the loop

I'm going to be offline a lot the next few days. My mil was having

chest pains Saturday night and she went to the hospital. She didn't

have a heart attack but the doctor says she has some blockage and

they want to do some tests tomorrow. Possible angioplasty, not sure

at the moment.

She's doing fine and her prognosis is good but I only have one phone

line so I'll have to stay off the computer just in case they try to

call.

I'll be thinking of all of you and I'll let you know what's up as

soon as I find out more.

Take care and I'll be back in a few days.

Thanks. I couldn't take the depression any more so I'm reading a few

of the messages. I'm going to have to get off the internet though.

(still over 200 behind.)

Mil has been dx'd with congestive heart failure due to a virus

attacking her heart. She's lost 60-75% of the use of her heart muscle

and they're not sure if she will regain any of it. :o(

She's only 57. Her arteries are good so they won't be putting in any

stints nor doing any angio. They're going to try her on some anti-

viral meds and we'll see how that goes.

I hope she pulls through okay. She's the kids' favorite grandmother

and my husband worships the ground she walks on.

Tina,

If it's any help, my Aunt has had conjestive heart failure for many years,

along with emphazema (sp?) and is now 75 and still doing well and

independent. Tell your mil to be sure she takes precautions during flu

seasons....that's her worst time of the year.

I hope she does as well as my Aunt.
