Did anyone else hear Brainwaves on Radio 4 at 9.30 this morning? (all about

hormones I think) It seems that oxytocin lowers stress and breastfeeding

mothers have been shown to have a lower response to stressors than others

do. Very interesting - possibly those prone to stress problems are unable

to manufacture or utilise oxytocin well.

Anneliese and two year old today Tim (trying to think if I've got more

stressed in the last 6 mths since stopping bf...)

of course it does :o)) I get a lovely wave of calmness and serenity when my

milk lets down - eyes glaze over, and if it's quiet I nearly doze off!
