Guest guest
Louisa, I'm sorry I don;t have any advice or knowledge here. And I wanted to say I'm so sorry that this gives you yet another worry at this time. Hang in there. Leggs
Guest guest
Louisa, how scary for you! It surely does sound like a seizure, and the small absences during the day you describe could be what are called absence seizures. Time to see the neurologist again most likely. I'm so sorry. Just what you need. Something else to worry over. (((hugs)))
Guest guest
You know, now that you mention it, occassionally n will shake quite violently when roused from a deep sleep. I never really thought it was a seizure though, more like an adjustment to temperature change -- warm snuggly bed to cool room in winter time ... but I would certainly check with your pediatrician, particularly if you think it is getting worse. Guest guest
Thanks all, After seeing the video it sure was a seizure. I checked on Liesel tonight and there were a few twitches but it wasn't as bad as last night. I am making an appointment for her tomorrow, in the mean time I will record all these episodes.
