Guest guest
Ruthie, hope you've had a lovely time and not been too busy rushing around. Hannah Happy New Year everyone! I am closing down in less than an hour, for the Jewish New Year, and won't be looking at this list or any other, till Wednesday night. I wish you all a peaceful and happy time, and will pray for peace and safety in the world. Love Ruthie

Services begin at 7.45 a.m (some earlier) and end between 2 and 3 pm. I went a bit later than that!..aimed to be there by 9.50 a.m. As it was raining hard both days and I didn't want to arrive in the synagogue looking like a drowned rat with my wig ruined, I devised a brilliant strategy (well I thought it was, as did quite a few of my friends...) I wore a pull down hat for the walk to synaogue, and carried my wig and a hairbrush safe and dry in a plastic bag, and once i got there, I did a swap in the Ladies! We ate one of the two evening meals at Sara's and one at Tammy's and ate the two daytime meals here on our own with just my MIL for company. Mil and her deaf aid whistling away!
