I would ask very politely what they view as exploitation and how they

consider this to be exploitation. If they get too snotty you can

always ask them if they consider child actors to be exploited and if

so how the heck they ever expect to see " Ender's Game " made into a

movie without a BUNCH of child actors. ;o)

PLEASE educate them. If I have to read one more poorly depicted

autistic character that is MIRACULOUSLY cured in one of my sf/fantasy

workshops I might just scream. If you need back up, let me know.

While you're remembering to be polite, also remember that even though

some of them are probably Aspies themselves, they're probably totally

ignorant to that fact and wouldn't appreciate being told. ;o)
