Guest guest
That I'd be able to come back and things would change, I'd leave here ALONE in a heartbeat, and let DH know what it's like. I come home with several bags of groceries. I know you can hear the garage door open from the bedroom where he was. I make 2 trips from the car to the inside hallway. Shutting the door so the cat doesn't get out. I then make 2 trips from the end of the hallway to the kitchen. I start putting things away. Some go in the bathroom through the bedroom. He says " Are you okay? " I say no, I'm tired, I'm sick (sinus infection, which he knew about from THIS MORNING!. And as I'm leaving I say " A little help would have been nice " I get the grunts groans, etc. and then why didn't you ask. I say because I've asked you before when I come in with groceries to please help. He says, oh, but that was when you had with you. GGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! And he's pissed because I'm pissed. Guest guest
Girl! I hear ya! The weird part is, when he buys groceries EVERYBODY has to help bring them in and put them away. WTF is that??? Sissi
Guest guest
" A little help would have been nice " I get the > grunts groans, etc. and then why didn't you ask. This drives me insane! Why do men need to be " asked " to help? Like I have to put together some kind of to-do list like I would for a child. No one asks me to do all the things I do around the house. Guest guest
Ok...this is what you do next time. Leave the groceries in the car. Come inside and say, " , please go out to the car and get the groceries. " ...When he brings them in say " I need you to help me put them away. " specifics, hon. Guest guest
I know. I learned my lesson. We had a big discussion and I apologized for not asking, and he said he'd try to be more aware of what's going on. That's what yesterday helped with, but nope, he's not aspie. (according to him!) LOL! ellen If I thought for a second That I'd be able to come back and things would change, I'd leave here ALONE in a heartbeat, and let DH know what it's like. Guest guest
I agree with Penny. Men are clueless. My husband told me once that men just don't do subtle.
