That is a rash of the scalp, face, chest and abdomen, right down the middle. It is an auto immune disease where your skin makes skin cells too fast and they slough off. For me it itches mostly and burns sometimes. It can be called dandruff when it's only on the scalp. Mine started on my scalp and proceded to my nose and chin. Someitmes I get a small amount on my chest. You can use 1% hydrocortisone cream (not ointment)on it and it should dissapear. However, if that's what it is, then for long term treatment you should get a prescription for Elidel ( from a dermatologist). I use a small amount daily and it is kept under complete control. After awhile (quite awhile) the cortisone cream can cause small blood vessels in the skin to rupture. Hope this helps.
