Hi Ted,I too take the prilosec, but choose to use generic prescription called ommeprezole.  It is cheaper than the otc.Roxanne, 59, South Carolina

My understanding is that Nexium was produced when the copywrite protection on Prilosec expired..that they are esentially the same drug. At my doc's recommendation I am taking Prilosec OTC.
