Guest guest
Wow last night I experienced my first earthquake. Around 4 in the morning dh and I woke up with the house rattling. I didn't know for sure, but imagined it was an earthquake. When I asked my husband about it in the morning he said " I didn't know what it was, but wondered what n had gotten into that was making the house shake. " lol! Guest guest
Hi . I know what you mena. It scared the sh*t out of me. I couldn't figure it out. At first I thought we were getting storms again but then when I was a little more awake I knew we weren't due for any (which, of course, doesn't mean a thing here). And then I thought of some kind of explosion nearby. Couldn't figure out what else would be causing our entire house to shake. Turned on the 5:00 AM news and hear earthquake!! OMGoodness!!! Guest guest
I know! I've never experienced one before. It woke us both up out of deep sleep. Felt like a freight train was passing right next to the house. And this was only a 4.0 on the Reicher (sp?) scale miles from here. The earth is an amazing thing! Guest guest
I was just reading about this on cnn.com. They have some intersting info on area geography and fault line locations. My mom lives in N.Alabama. I am sure she felt it. Glad everyone is A-OK. Libby > > > > > > > > > Wow last night I experienced my first earthquake.
