Peggy C ...thanks for answering.

There have been a limited few times when we were out and stopped 'for just a minute' and I ended up walking more than I had planned on and did feel very sob and no o2.

Guess I"ll have to stop doing that and use the o2.

It's always been my dilemma tho' that my sats are ok but I'm sob. Clear back to dx.

I fell into the habit of not using o2 much 'cause my sats were always ok when I checked.

re: PeggyE...guess I 'read between the lines' due to her extensive medical experience.

Now I too will start claiming 'OD' . lol

I'm anxious to go to Seattle to the MC. Pulmodude tells me, "Well, there's something in there" ...grinning, when I question him about my slow progression.

He and other docs confirm it IS PF. Of course I'm grateful it progresses so slowly but I still want answers.

Although the 13 days on prednisone (for tendonitis)let me breathe easier and I had more energy, doc and I decided NOT to do even a low dosage on a regular basis. We'll save it for a back up should I need it sometime again.

Have a good weekend...hello to .

Re: Sher

Sher, all I know is when I went from using 02 just at night to daytime use. I was told to ALWAYS use it when I was

up walking around even on minimal setting. It can creep up on you and if you don't have it with you you could get into serious trouble. Once we begin using 02 we should always have it available. It can cause PH. It is not worth the chance.

I am not sure Peggy E. is a nurse. She did work a lot in the medical field but didn't notice her saying she was..

Hope you won't mind my question below Joy...

I'm going to use Joy as the reason for my question.

I knowsometime after we all met in a gathering at Olympia, WA. Joy went off O2.

Could not being on the o2 contribute tothe PH?

I wonder if I use my o2 enough. Although I watch sats and use o2 accordingly. But around the house I seldom use it. Occasionally.

If I'm going from front door to docs office and back again I frequently don't take the o2. I'm not exerting myself.

Ido alwaysuse the 02 at night.

Anyway, I wonder if I don't use it daily can it bring about something down the road, like PH? ~~ thanks.
