Guest guest
Mike Sjogren's can be difficult to diagnose. I'd call it sort of a three stage diagnosis. First, typically the combination of blood tests and other clinical factors may make one at least question the possibility. This includes blood tests, kidney and liver problems, and symptoms such as dry eyes or dry mouth. Second, more specific tests such as a shirmer test for dry eyes, slit lamp eye test, sialogram for salivary glands, or salivary scintigraphy may be done. Third, a lip biopsy will be performed. > > Is Sjogren's something that should have been picked up in a connective tissue screen? > > Mike >
