Missy,

Has he ever had any formal evaluations done? If not, I would schedule one

for him so that it can be done as soon as he's home with you. Couldn't

rages also be part of bi-polar? Jacquie?

he has a formal dx of ADD, but of nothing else yet...ex is mentioning it to the

therapist up there and i am setting up and appt here for less than a week after

he arrives...and i am bipolar myself..don't have rages, but don't know if they

are common or not..i did have the high mood 'mania' things though

I know from Jacquie's posts that there are different forms of bi-polar and

she said that she would go from high to throwing things almost instantly.

She's probably our pro for info on that.

Oh, YES. Bipolar. RAGE.

Exactly what Sue said. I never had positive mood mania; I had RAGE mania.

Screaming, yelling, throwing things, breaking things...you name it. It

could go on for hours, or be over after a single outburst.
