Guest guest
It looks more and more like Aspergers syndrome with possible CAPD and definite Pragmatic problems. The speech pathologist was great. Explained the testing results to me and explained that what I was seeing is what the testing is reflecting. She went on to say that they aren't allowed to dx, which I knew, but that I'm not barking up the wrong tree. At least that made me feel good. She did mention that he is doing a lot of stimming when excited. Hand flapping, that sort of thing. She says that he doesn't understand appropriate social behavior. While looking at pictures, he made no comment on those pictures but instead went into a pokemon talk. Had nothing to do with what they were talking about. I said that is typical for . I don't know but she told me to expect a report from here in the next week. Giving it to me before my trip to the devleopmental ped. I'm hoping that the audiologist will do the same. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Guest guest
Sounds pretty AS to me too, , but you aren't surprised. Good to hear you are getting some answers; I felt GLAD when Enrique finally got an offical dx of AS. All those years of problems finally made sense and we could move forward. Not that we have actually moved forward, of course: Enrique is pretty resistant. Salli
