Guest guest
I saw this on the urban legends site that Barbara recommended the other day. Here is what it says: Trick Your Address Book! Adding a !0000 entry to your e-mail address book will prevent you from mailing out a virus your computer has been infected with. Status: False. This trick will work on a few viruses, but not on the bulk of them. And it does nothing to undo whatever harm is going on within the user's computer. Sorry! Cerys -----Original Message----- Someone sent a hint about dealing with virus's that work by sending out attachments to your whole email address book. Simply add a new name in your address book called !!!000 just in the name section (don't put anything in the email bit) and save.
