Guest guest
Not sure I should mention this but in my trawl for meanings I came across a philosophical (?sp) society who place great importance on names. Their brief analysis of our names is scarily true www.kabalarians.com Caroline Jersey Germain Jersey British Channel Islands 49º11'N 02º07'W
Guest guest
I have a niece named Ela Noch, and a nephew named Amos Harvest. My first husband's last name (and therefore mine for many years) was Belch. One was named Raspberry and the other Snowflake and these were not middle names. They ended up going by Berry and Snow. I sometimes see young adults with strange names on their name tags at airports etc. and I wonder if they too were named by 'hippies' in the 60's. Those girls and their Mom turned out well though and if it gives everyone a cause to smile - isn't that wonderful?I named my son Ian, after Ian of Jethro Tull - loved that band and the flute playing. He is also fine. Now it is a pretty popular name but my son was the only Ian in his school until middle school when there was one other one.A bit of trivia you probably all are bored to death now.Peggy E. This has caused quite a stir in our little family. I personally cant say anything as my son's middle name is Wizard. I cried for days but that is a long story. He thankfully loves it and never had any trouble. I on the other hand wanted to crawl under my seat when they read it at his graduation of high school and college. Guest guest
The baby's name is unusual -- but there are lots of unusual names now days my daughter's friends named their son, oliver, i always think of Laurel and Hardy when i hear it they just had a baby girl and named her daisy, that reminds me of the song "daisy, daisy, give me your answer .........i'm half crazy all for the love of you........" or something like that when we named our daughter Shelby, most of the people we knew never heard of it, now it is a popular name, with various spellings, enjoy the children regardless of their names Pink Joyce (IPF 3/06) IFA 5/09 Pennsylvania Donate Life Listed 1/09 Inactive 4/09 www.transplantfund.org--- Subject: NamesTo: Breathe-Support Date: Wednesday, June 17, 2009, 1:47 AM My niece just had a beautiful baby girl and they named her ZuZu Jude ODonoghue. Guest guest
Hi Joyce, My son is 27 - maybe he is their friend - just kidding. Maybe their parents were also Jethro Tull fans. I saw the band once at Red Rocks outside Denver and it was fantastic. It's such a beautiful venue with the city lights below.
