Hey, Pam... Welcome to the group. I was reading along and it sounds like your description of where yours is, the calcification of the lymph node, etc, is about the way mine was described to me. The people at the Lung Center at the U. of Penn. asked me if I had birds, and I did have a (very nasty) parrot for a number of years until my ex let it out the back door, so I found your mention of histoplasmosis really interesting. I live in a house that's well over 200 years and at one time was a barn, so I'm sure there have been plenty of bird roosts here over the years.
