Guest guest
TK--- for those with high amonia levels glutamine can also make them worse, extreme fatigue in my case - make sure you add one thing at a time so you know how you respond. > > > > > > how much glycine do you take with your meal to increase bile? > > > > > >
Guest guest
Is there a test to see if liver ammonia levels are high?? I was told that because the glutimine did affect my liver because my liver hurt the folowing .. " Combining AKG (alpha-ketoglutarate) with your regular glutamine would be a way to receive the gut nourishing benefits of glutamine without the liver stress, as AKG scavenges ammonia. Typically AKG wil be bound to something - arginine AKG is very popular, but, as you may know, arginine can re-activate latent herpes viruses. The other option is glutamine AKG. If your gut is doing really well, and your interest in glutamine unrelated to GI health, glutamine AKG alone would suffice, but it bypasses the gut so you can combine the two - " And yes I agree TK , do new supplements one at a time.. I went and put alot of the new aminos I was trying in one pot as I was so impatient and they are now onto a freind who is going to try them.. . It is hard to wait ==== unfortunate but reality.. nanci > > > > TK--- for those with high amonia levels glutamine can also make them > worse, extreme fatigue in my case - make sure you add one thing at a > time so you know how you respond. > > > > > ---

Guest guest
> Do you have insomnia? > Ammonia is produced by a lot of gut bugs. > DeanSA > HI Dean.. I usually do not have alot of insomnia since starting the supplements like milk thistle, enzymes. some other things. ... But when my liver is bad,, after crisis's when my liver starts to hurt .. my sleep is alot more restless. So I guess it is bad.. and I just need to keep on top of it with my supplements , etc.. I have added arginine and am doing well with it.. Taking lysine as well to balance it.. I think ornithine is illegal here in canada.. will look into it..
