Let me start off by saying I am sorry if this is a bit long. But I wanted to

give some

background info on me. My main reason for posting is to find a MD or ND in my

area

(DFW) to help me. I requested to join this board yesterday and since then have

been

pouring over posts and files learning as much as I can. ( note here...I did

locate some

names of DR's in my area thru the links provided. However I feel nothing is as

good as

hearing from someone who has personal experience with a MD.) I have had Andy's

book

for a few years now but only recently " really " came to terms with the fact that

I have

mercury issues. My history is full of exposure. 30 mercury fillings by the time

I was 10 yrs

old. They fell out, more put it. Root canal after root canal. On and on it went

for years 45

years. In the 90's a good friend suggested to me that I was mercury poisoned

after I was

DX with FMS. Unbeknown to me my new DDS was removing my amalgams and replacing

them with composites. I just thought he did things very different than all my

other

dentists. I poo-poo-ed the idea and went on my way with western medicine and

it's DX of

me. I'll spare you all the details ad there really is too much. But to top off

the exposure to

mercury with my dental issues, my families business for almost 50 years was in

the

fireworks industry. Another bright spot in all this was that my ex husband use

to pan for

gold. He kept a ball of mercury about the size of a quarter in a ceramic cup in

our

bedroom closet not 3 feet from where I slept for 10 years.

The good news! All amalgams and root canals are removed. Sadly I lost most of

my upper

and lower right jaw bones to cavitations. This was all completed about 3 yrs

ago.

The last 3 years my allergies have been awful to deal with. I no longer walk the

path of

Allopathic medicine so a couple of months ago I choose to have acupuncture using

the

N.A.E.T. method. All was great for the 1st 2 treatments. The 3rd brought forth

blockages

in my system that were apparent to me right away. The acupuncturist used

basically

muscle testing and found mercury was my road blocks. Imagine that! So I began

her

treatments and all was fine until a week ago. Even as bad as I feel now I am

still improved

with her treatments. But, silly me. I was concerned that her treatments may not

be

enough so I added my own. Even though I knew Andy wrote that not enough was know

about cilantro I had used it in the past with no bad effects. Of course those

times I was

not in a detox program such as this person had me on. Make matters worse I

vamped my

use of whey and added in NAC, went back to eating red meat for my muscles,

taking

garlic tablets, probably a few other things along the way but too sick at the

moment to

recall.

SO I crashed. Hard! Now? I no longer want to make the same mistakes or to take

this road

alone. So if anyone on this board has knowledge of a MD or ND in the DFW area

who has

knowledge in detoxing heavy metals and the other issues involved I would forever

be

indebted to you for that information. I have an appointment next week with a

clinic and

will be " interviewing " them. I have contacted some health care people I know in

this area

and asked them also. My plan is to interview all of them that I can possible

afford to do. I

have printed a lot of the information on this site and from Andy's book to take

with me. I

fullly into to follow his protocol.

Claire
