Guest guest
A brief update on Beverly. She had her operation this morning, everything is out. Beverly is very tired and in a lot of pain, but this is only to be expected. She will be in hospital for a few days. More news to follow later. Please send my best to her, I have had the same op in 1992 and never regretted it. My tip of the day for the first 24 post hysterectomy: Get up as soon as she can, and when she does..despite the instinct to hunch over her wound, straighten right up! It's the hardest thing to do, but once she is upright, and sail down the corridor as straight as a die, she will recover much faster than those who hunch over.
