Guest guest
For gosh sakes Peggy. I never saw a chicken w/blue or green feet and especially not that followed w/ colored eggs. What fun. You won't have to do anything at Easter! They are so cute. I can just see you smiling as you feed them. Have fun. MamaSher; 70, IPF 3-06, OR. Guest guest
Peggy, what beautiful chickens! Are they your pets? The family across the street from me have chickens and they roam free in the front lawn and eat and sometimes they get into the area of trees running down our street and he comes out and says: Girls! Girls! Come home! and they all run back to the house. He doesn't eat them but he does eat the eggs. Guest guest
We got them as new peeps and have raised them to this point. I throw feed and scraps over the end of the porch. I go out the door and call "girls chick chick" and they come running. I love to sit and watch them. We clipped their wings one time and need to do it again cause they want to get up on the porch.. can't have them doing that. may screen that end... SSSHHOOOOOTI won't be able to feed them. We'll try the clipping one more time I think. I think we will have more eggs than we can handle soon. I think my Dr. would probably have a hissy fit about them so I am not telling. I an staying away from their hutch so I think I'm safe..Love and Prayers, Peggy IPF 2004, FloridaWorry looks around, Sorry looks back, Faith looks up. Peggy, what beautiful chickens! Guest guest
Dear Peggy, You know when I think of Florida, I think of Disney World, alligators, and lots of heat, but not chickens.I didn't realize that you could tell what color their eggs would be by the color of their feet. I can't wait to show my husband. He grew up on a farm and he always told me about brown eggs. They are very cute chickens.PJ in OHIO My pets hee hee blue feet = blue eggs green feet = green eggs first egg 7/4/
