Guest guest
I saw my primary care doc today...just a regular app't. We talked about my recovery from the flu and discussed the tests she wants me to have next. So we're going to schedule a bone scan and of course since I'm officially 50 now a colonoscopy. Now there's something to look forward to. lol What I've heard from everyone is that the prep is worse than the actual test, true? I'm also wondering what kind of sedation anyone has had with a colonoscopy. I had a very bad reaction to pre-op sedation when I had my lung biopsy so I'm very leery. I will have an app't with the GI doc in advance to discuss the issue and my primary suggested we might want to have an anesthesiologist present. I'm just looking for anyone elses experiences with this. The sedation is what makes me nervous about this..not the prep, not the test....just the drugs and my possible reaction.
