Guest guest
, When I'm low in zinc the skin starts peeling away from under my fingernails -- did you have that? It took me forever to figure out what that was about. Thought I'd mention that one in case anyone else gets that and doesn't know what it's about...My eyelashes start falling out too. I'll start getting one in my eye more often than usual -- and can often gently pull out 4 or five in one pinch when I'm low in zinc. Guest guest
Great news! Don't you just love how so many things in Andy's book turn out to be " right on the money? Guest guest
HI Jen yes i have read about the skin/hair effects of low zinc. I didn't have any skin problems my hair was really bad a few years ago..more grey and dry and brittle and falling out, I think both zinc and thyroid treatments have helped with this its funny as when my levels of zinc are up/high, i get almost an instant headache when i take my doses of zinc. I thought this was my bodies way of telling me i was reaching my proper levels after a year i was taking 30 mgs -3 times a day and cut back to 15 mgs 3 times a day: but I think doing it when i was on continuous chelation with ALA (which is prone to lower zinc); set me up for a problem hope you are feeling better > > , > > When I'm low in zinc the skin starts peeling away from under my > fingernails -- did you have that?
